Welcome to Art from All Angles, the blog of the Sidney and Lois Eskenazi Museum of Art at Indiana University. This blog was started in spring 2011 by a museum graduate assistant and communications intern to encourage student engagement by providing students with a conduit to share their experiences and explorations at the art museum. It is now updated by the Eskenazi Museum of Art staff to provide a more in-depth look at news and events happening at the art museum. If you have questions or comments please contact Abe Morris, the museum’s Manager of Public Relations and Marketing at firstname.lastname@example.org.
About the IU Eskenazi Museum of Art
With collections ranging from ancient gold jewelry, Asian scrolls, and African masks, to paintings by Jackson Pollock, Claude Monet and Pablo Picasso, the Eskenazi Museum of Art is located at 1133 East 7th Street in the heart of the Bloomington campus.
Starting in May 2017, the museum is closed for a major renovation. It is scheduled to reopen in the fall of 2019. This blog will continue to be active during the renovation and will be a major outlet for online exhibitions, news about the museum, and other items of interest. You can learn more about the renovation at our website.
The museum and all exhibitions and programs are free and open to the public.
